  1. TITLE: 941214 COREL DRAW! 3.0 WON'T START UNDER OS/2; GETS ERROR
  2.               COREL DRAW 3 SECTION DRAWDIR=KEY NOT FOUND IN WIN.INI

  4. DESCRIPTION OF SYMPTOMS:
  5.     When trying to run Corel Draw! 3.0 for Windows under OS/2 the user
  6.     cannot run the application and gets error, "Corel Draw 3 section
  7.     drawdir=key not found in WIN.INI." Corel Draw! cannot be run.
  8.  
  9. SUMMARY OF RESOLUTION:
  10.     1.  Modify WIN.INI file to address missing entry.
  11.     2.  It may be possible to simply modify the PATH statement in the
  12.         OS/2 AUTOEXEC.BAT file to include the Corel Draw directory so
  13.         that the CORELDRW.INI file can be found.

  15. DETAILS OF RESOLUTION:
  16.     1.  Edit the WIN.INI file and add the following:
  17.  
  18.             {CorelDraw3.
  19.             drawdir=C:\CorelDrw
  20.  
  21.         NOTE: CorelDraw3 is enclosed in square brackets.
  22.               Also the directory may be modified as needed.

  24.     2.  The user may also be able to modify the AUTOEXEC.BAT file of
  25.         OS/2 so that the PATH statement includes whatever directory
  26.         Corel Draw! 3.0 is located in, such as C:\CorelDrw as
  27.         above
